That’s why we’re proud to support the Presbyterian Villages of Michigan (PVM) Foundation as they celebrate 80 years of creating new possibilities for seniors across our state. Founded in 1945, PVM began with a simple mission: to serve seniors of all faiths and create opportunities for quality living.
From a single home in Redford to a network now serving more than 7,500 older adults statewide, PVM has grown into a powerful example of what can happen when compassion and community come together. Guided by their Christian heritage, they’ve spent eight decades transforming senior living and enhancing the communities they serve, making Michigan a better place to grow older, to stay rooted, and to thrive.
For our team at GCB, that story resonates deeply. We, too, were founded on the belief that relationships matter, and that the right people can make a lasting difference close to home. Just as PVM has worked to help Michigan seniors live with dignity and purpose, our agency has spent more than 60 years protecting the families, businesses, and futures of our friends and neighbors here in Macomb County and beyond. Supporting PVM’s mission feels like an extension of our own.
A Time to Celebrate, Y’all!
This fall, the PVM Foundation will commemorate its 80th Anniversary Gala—an evening dedicated to honoring the legacy of service that has shaped generations of Michigan seniors and to raising funds for the programs that will serve tomorrow’s. Dubbed “Country Nights,” this year’s version of the organization's annual gala will take place on Friday, October 24, 2025 at The Henry in Dearborn. The evening promises to be “a fun-filled evening of southern charm, entertainment, and all the country vibes you can handle. Whether you’re lacing up your boots or donning your favorite plaid, this is your chance to embrace the country spirit and dance the night away!”
Through the Foundation’s philanthropic efforts, PVM provides vital resident emergency assistance, innovative wellness initiatives, and life-enriching activities that keep seniors active, engaged, and connected. It’s a mission rooted in respect, inclusion, and the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to achieve their best possibilities in life.
